Great Pub! The Austral always has a great Vibe out on Rundle st. Pretty good prices all round and decent drink specials during happy happy. The meals are good and the staff are all good hard workers!

Hmm... Not somewhere I want to go often, if at all.
Was there for a work lunch just today (Friday) and there was about 10 of us. We each ordered our food per usual and sat awaiting our meals. People went to get second drinks... then third... and still our meals weren't out!
Finally, after 1 and a half hours, yes you read that correctly, ONE AND A HALF HOURS, our meals made their way out. Not all at the same time, but some people before others. So many had finished before the last person even got theirs!!!
They blamed the delay to the fact there were heaps of people. Which I would have accepted, were it not for the fact we had booked, so they should have been expecting to cook for so many!
Still, they made their peace by offering us free drinks. 2 jugs of beer, and a couple of random requests.
