My first visit to the Avondale Cafe with my husband wasn't great but we have returned since with visiting family and friends. Our coffee was good, fish and chips very nice, hot dogs delicous and breakfast was great second time round.

Had breakfast here with my husband today and have to say how disappointed we were. We just ordered "2" bacon and egg sandwiches, not a difficult order yet it took 30 minutes before we received them. The two girls behind the counter continued chatting for almost 15 minutes before they started to prepare our breakfast. It was not busy we were the only two people in the cafe, we decided not to order a coffee as we did not want to wait another 10 or more minutes. Our breakfast was average, nothing special. We decided to give them a second chance as we ordered 4 coffees last week and it took them 25 minutes to make them even though we were the only people in the cafe. There will not be a third time.

Overall a very disappointing experience with bascially NO customer service at all.
