6 years ago I was having some treatment and my hair was falling out and in a very bad way. It was recommended I visit Rebecca at Bald and the Beautiful, with her magic fingers she managed to restore my hair, gave me so much confidence. Love going into the salon, both Rebecca and Nelida have so much experience and both have such beautiful calming natures, always look forward to getting pampered.

Good hair cutters are hard to find. Nelida is calm, consultative, competent and a great conversationalist. The Bald The Beautiful is tops.

I have never had short hair, and merely 3 weeks before my sister's wedding decided I wanted to cut it really short (a bit risky I know), so after hearing about The Bald The Beautiful from one of their customers and reading all these amazing reviews, I took a leap of faith and decided to go there.
I can't emphasise enough how grateful I am to Nelida for an amazing haircut and for her diligence. She is a perfectionist and doesn't mind spending a little bit more time to get the haircut you want and best suites you.
The look on my hubby's face was pure gold when he saw me, and haven't received anything but compliments from friends.

In one word, just wonderful service. Highly recommended.

Nelida, thank you for the best haircut I've ever had! I have short hair that has been razor cut before, but since my old hairdresser shut shop, I have been unable to find another hair dresser that knows how to razor cut. I found Nelida through WOMO and she has given me a very modern pixie cut that not only suits me, but is cut to to match the natural fall of my hair. I have had nothing but compliments since arriving home! Thank you again Nelida, looks like I will be doing the two hour round trip to your salon for my next haircut in six weeks.

I tried this salon for the first time after a horrible experience at another hairdressers and I left a very happy customer. Nelida gave me a thorough, honest, and realistic plan of attack to fix my hair. It took longer than expected but at no stage did she rush things. Very professional and would recommend to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy hairdresser. The location is great too!

Fantastic. I walked with with ratty hair and a vague description of 'I would like it shorter, I'm going away for 12 months, but it still needs to go up in a pony tail....but I don't know what I want'. And they made it happen. Thankyou. I felt a million dollars. And a great price too.

What's not to love? Very reasonable prices for colour and cut. Both Beck and Nelida are very competent hairdressers. Beck is super punctual which is another great plus. I've been going every few weeks for my colour for about 3 years.

I needed a good cut although it had only been 5 weeks since my last, not very good trim. I was visiting Melbourne and thought the reviews and price were very good. I enquired and booked by email very smoothly and Nelida gave me the best cut ever, after discussing with me what I wanted. I liked that I was the only customer booked in at the time stated so I did not have to share attention. It is a bit far to come from Perth every
6 weeks but I shall be sure to book in when ever I am visiting.

Beck and Nelida at The Bald The Beautiful are a really good find. They know colour and what will and won't work for you, I completely trust their advice. I go home happy with my and my children's haircuts every time.

After having a bad experience at a different hairdresser down the road, I booked in to The Bald & Beautiful with Nelida to get my blond blotchiness fixed up. She did a great consultation prior to my appointment and I was very pleased with both the end result and the extremely reasonable price. Will definitely be going back :)

I am from Sydney and in desperate need of a haircut sought advice from womo. The advice was good. Got an appointment same day, Nelida did a fantastic job. I have an asymmetrical bob, cut in at the back - not easy, but it looks great. It was 10 weeks overdue and I am very happy. Bec is open late tues and thurs and their prices are very reasonable! I chose them because the reviews said they are careful about asking what you want and listening and giving honest advise when needed. Nelida does razor cut - love it. Wash, cut and dry $55

Beck is the first hairdresser I've continued to go back too. She always takes the time to discuss the ideas I had in mind and what she thinks would suit and I always end up going home smile. I never feel rushed when at her salon and never feel any pressure to buy the products she stocks- unlike many other salons. Definitely recommend!

I popped in for a quick haircut and got exactly what I wanted (rare with hairdressing). Bec really listens, I will be back for sure!

After reading all the WOMO reviews I went to Bec for the first time a few weeks ago to get my part-line foils done. She was very attentive and listened to what I wanted done. She was very friendly and she is definately worth going back to as she listens to what the client wants done and she was very efficient and professional.

After seeing all the great reviews for Bec on Womow I made an appointment 6 weeks ago after yet, another disastrous hair cut. Bec did such a great job in fixing it that it saved me from having to walk around with a paper bag over my head. I then went back to get my colour done and am amazed that finally, without having to really describe what I wanted, Bec was able to figure it out and do an amazing job. It's the first time in 3 years that I have been happy with a colour. I have paid double the amount in the past and it did not even bare comparison. Do yourselves a favour, make the trip to Carlton North, it will be worth the trip. I am just happy I found a great hairdresser at last and will stick with Bec.
