1 review about The Bean Project

verified email - 22 Feb 2013

The Bean Project is a takeaway coffee vendor in the shiny new business building on RMIT City Campus. I've been here a few times when in the vicinity and needing coffee. The coffee is OK, it's not fabulous but it'll do if you don't have time to walk to other nearby coffee places. What irks me, though, is the service. One particular staff member always seems to be cranky (nobody likes having to be up early in the morning, including me, so there's no need to project your rotten attitude onto your customers!)

One particular occasion that makes me hesitant to go back was when I asked specifically if the croissants were fresh that morning. The staff member said yes, they are fresh, we received them this morning. So I bought my coffee and croissant and went to my class. Half way there, I took a bite and found that the croissant was very stale, it was horrible! I didn't have time to walk back and complain so I just binned it. Blatantly lying to customers is not cool!

Thanks for the honesty Sonieee and another great review! Ignorant employees can indeed dampen one's spirit and hopefullly management will look into this. Regards, Reeces
