The breakfast menu sounded great however I was a little disappointed with what was served up. The bacon was hard but not crisp and I wasn't a massive fan of the flavour of the chorizo. Their pizzas for lunch and dinner are great though.

We had pizzas and beer here one afternoon recently. The pizza selection was good, and really well made, the beer selection was enormous and made choosing difficult, yet pleasurable.

Amazing pizzas, this place is an old style queenslander home done up to be a restaurant you have upstairs and downstairs to sit. Not to badly priced

ive only been here for a drink but i really like the place and will definately be back for what looked like great pizza's! My friends and i had a few Sangria's... V tasty and served in cool mason jars.. The spot down the side with the outdoor settings is V casual and relaxed.

I visited this place for breakfast yesterday, their menu is very impressive and I guess you could say different. For example one item on their breakfast menu is tacos! I ordered the eggs and bacie - just your basic bacon and eggs with rye bread and I think a herb sauce which was delicious. All the meals looked delicious and they had something for everyone. It's not very cheap but the meal size is definitely worth it! It also has a pretty cool atmosphere with pages out of old comic books as wallpaper.

Their poached eggs were impressive and the staff were friendly. Downstairs is pretty cold at breakfast time (they need some heaters) but if you can get a seat upstairs that's not an issue. I'd revisit definitely.

The Burrow is located right near two other reputable cafes in West End (the trendy part of Brisbane, so I'm told) but had heard good things about the Burrow online. Anyway, was really happy with my choice! The Burrow is this great cafe, all open with timber floors, table and walls. It's all shady and ferny and you really feel like you're in a rainforesty sort of place, it's really nice. Plenty of space and it was not too busy!

Their menu is a little limited but covers the main bases well (sometimes it helps making a choice when there's less delicious food to choose from!) and is SO CHEAP. All breaky options under $15 except the big breakfast, I think. My french toast and poached pears was delish, and my boyfriend and friend had the Eggs Benny, also good. We were looked after at all times, wait staff were really lovely and attentive, but not too much so.

Coffee was superb too, always makes a big difference in my opinion. Loved this place, will be making an effort to be back

Approximate cost: $13
