By far the best meal I can ever remember eating.
The food, atmosphere and staff were superb.
We walked out amazed and felt the need to share with everyone we knew how good it was!
We got a deal $69 for two people for a 5-course degustation & glass of champagne each. It's normally $85 per person. Even at the full price of $85/head I would have walked out happy. I'll be back.

I was a little reluctant to go due to prices and a view of the car park, but since I had a 25% off from the Entertainment Book I decided to give it a go with my sister.
The food and wine were lovely and between the two of us (we treated the dishes like tapas) and the discount it didn't turn out as expensive of an adventure as I had expected.
Definitely worth a try and we'll be back because the quality great. The polenta underneath the stuffed zucchini flowers was AMAZING – I didn't even notice the car park after a while.

Great atmosphere here and a beautiful display of food (tasted good too!); it was impressive they had a good vegetarian selection too. I missed the alcoholic smoothie menu unfortunately - nuts cause that sounded good! The only criticism I had really was the drinks are wee bit pricey (they could use some additional drink menus) and the staff seemed like they could use some assistance due to the venue's popularity. Again, a really great atmosphere, we'll definitely be back – even just to kick back with a newspaper!

We had a very pleasant lunch time dining experience at this Greek restaurant (next door to The Garlic Clove). The service was very friendly and helpful and the menu seems varied and well priced. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant and will be returning shortly. I really wish they would get their website up and running though as no one can peruse their menu before going - which can deter some people. But rest assured it is a good menu and they will email you through one if you like (I did that).

The first time we had the 4 person seafood platter (1.5-2 years ago) it was so amazing and set out so beautifully it was worth photographing. Unfortunately in late October 2012 it was just a big mess. Not to mention they actually forgot out order initially (probably why it was a big mess). I might give it another go but if it's as big of a mess as in October I won't be going back again.

We have had Mobile Teppanyaki twice now and it's really fun if you have a bunch of people.
They bring out the actual Teppanyaki hot plate and set up chairs, tables, utensils – everything.
They generally bring two people along (one chef to cook and entertain) and one to set up and tidy up.
Terry Chen is very entertaining and it doesn't feel at all weird to have them at your home. They throw in some funny twists to the normal teppanyaki entertainment.
The best bit is that it does not cost that much more than normal Teppanyaki, they set it all up and THEY CLEAN IT ALL UP! WOO!
It's a fun, laid back way to do Teppanyaki.

The restaurant and food are brilliant. I love the way the specials board is jazzed up like a story! The chef apparently use to work at The Marriott and it shows. The bartender has also won cocktail awards…but I've yet to give them a go due to the price unfortunately ($16 from memory). The restaurant is lovely but the rooms (that we've seen) definitely do not match the restaurant. The rooms need an upgrade, but they're all good if you're just looking for a place to crash for the night. I have been back to the restaurant section a lot recently - for lunch, dinner and just for drinks - they have cheaper champagne than The Hinterland/The Commercial, Nerang and the beers are only $.50c more.

Their poached eggs were impressive and the staff were friendly. Downstairs is pretty cold at breakfast time (they need some heaters) but if you can get a seat upstairs that's not an issue. I'd revisit definitely.

I stopped here for a quick kebab and the staff were impressively nice; the kebab went down a treat too!

This review is for The Polish Place, Tamborine Mountain QLD

The food was very expensive for what you got. It felt like home cooked meals at restaurant prices.

1) Duck with Granny Smith Apples (for two people). Advertised as “Traditional Polish Duck confit – whole free range duck stuffed with apples and marjoram, baked and served with red cabbage, apples, sour cherries & Polish gnocchi $69.00”. This was ok but it was slightly overcooked and it felt like a massive tin of cherries had been put on top. I thought at the time ‘no they wouldn't use tinned cherries' but a glance into the kitchen proved us wrong.
2) Polish Bigos Advertised as “The most recognised traditional Polish meal - sauerkraut cooked with different meats, smoked meats, porcini mushrooms, prunes and herbs, served with a Polish Kransky sausage $28.90”. Very disappointing and pretty flavourless – and you can't see the ‘different meats'. Half the plate was sauerkraut (literally). Now there are sauerkraut fan's….but who wants half a plate of it…
3) "Tasmanian Salmon with Lemon Sauce Advertised as “Baked Fresh Tasmanian Salmon fillet, served with our Lemon Sauce and slivered almonds, fresh asparagus and mashed potato. $33.90” The smallest serve of fish I have seen in a while. It was dry, small and the potato it was served on was cold. The lemon sauce was amazing though. But definitely not worth the price.

They were surprised we were disappointed and offered us some free coffees – which I managed to get upgraded to free vodkas.

One awesome thing about this café is their vodka list. The honey vodka is AMAZING. Definitely worth a visit to try the honey vodka.
