We came in 10mins before our appt., which was just a standard behavioural consult, and was spoken to for a whole of 2minutes by a lady. She proceeded to answer the ringing phone and talk very unempathetically about a cat that was an attempted drowning and who is now not neurotypical. And another that was born oxygen deprived who is suffering neurological issues and on oxygen support - this lack of empathy really filled me with much confidence (sarcasm implied). Then she discussed her lunch break! What should be get, is someone going to cover her and how she wanted a burger. How good! Except that a couple was trying to leave and were ignored after she finished the call. They were finally booked in for a visitation and thankfully for the lady at the counter, some KFC had been delivered! Yum! What a good lunch…..to go along with her thongs on her feet as she walked out back with the lunch and never returned……we sat in the waiting room for another 15mins tea until 1:15pm listening to 3 people talking around the corner near the front desk. Another lady had walked in and tried to get there attention and was ignored as well. After this - we’d been waiting for a total of 25mins at this point - we left. Our cat was so stressed during the 35minute car ride to this disgraceful excuse of a clinic that was recommended to us by a fellow vet - she even wet herself and was crying. Never going back or uttering a word about this place to a fellow cat owner ever.

Very experienced cat specialists who are able to diagnose things that other vets miss

First diagnosed my kitten with untreatable FIP as she had runny stool and a “mass” that turned out to just be a lymph node. Did not run any other tests. I forced them to do a stool test and sure enough, it was just a little infection from a parasite. Antibiotics and she will be fine. She caught cat flu/cold from staying overnight and spread it to her brother at home. Over $2000 in tests and procedures to find out she only needed antibiotics. Unimpressed is an understatement.

Approximate cost: $2000

We highly recommend this Cat Clinic, if it was not for Dr Marcus our little Joey would be not here. We took Joey to 3 Vets previous and no-one knew what was wrong with him, and each visit was diagnosed wrong. But the 4th vet the lady said take Joey to Marcus at the Cat Clinic. Dr Marcus was very accurate with his findings and came down to a choice we had to make either operation or die. Even after the operation it was touch and go they did not think Joey would make. We do shift work and they let us come and v be with Joey after Midnight to talk with him etc.
If it was not for Dr. Marcus joey would not be with us now.
It has been a few years now and Joey has never looked back. Thanks Marcus and all the staff. Any one that has a cat go there it will be treated and diagnosed. Thanks Marcus

I have taken my kittens/cats to Creek Road Cat Surgery since 1991. Dr. Vic Menrath and later Marcus & Rhett are excellent Specialised Vets. Jolly recovered rapidly with 8 teeth extracted and a cyst removed last Tuesday. Peace of mind knowing where to take my cats when needed. Highly recommended to All Cat Owners.

It is a shame you can't award more than 5 stars...
Very highly experienced vets and admin team are very sweet and caring. Always smile and greet both owner and kitty. I've had two cats who both made it to 19 years of age under the care of these vets and when their time was up the staff were nothing but exemplary in their methods of going about it. We received a sympathy card in the mail with a personalised message from their staff. Lovely touch.

I've got a 2yo boy and 3yo boy who I continue to take to the Cat Clinic for their high level of care and attention.

Love this business

Over the years when necessary I had taken my cat to this vet. At that stage the Vet owner had refurbished a small old style house into a Cat Surgery. I found the vet to be very good and thorough.
Over the years they have grown and have made extensions to the business and have employed more vets and general staff.
I feel that as the business has grown over the years that they have become a little more impersonal compared to when it was a smaller practice.

I've owned a lot of pets over my life so I've also used quite a few vets. All three of The Cat Clinics surgeries have provided nothing but the highest quality care, and are very nice people as well.

PS. I first visited the cat clinic when I was referred by my vet, at the time, for a problem he wasn't able to diagnose. I'll never go anywhere else again. I'm so very impressed and grateful for all that the staff have done for us over the years.

I took my cats there for a vaccination and check up. I was blown away by the set up there one word awesome. The vet i saw took history of the cats gave them their vaccinations, and looked at what was bothering them and i had noticed. A thorough check up and bloods were taken for a senior cat analysis. Antibiotics were given for one cat with a drooling problem and the other cat had surgery to remove a broken tooth which was causing a weeping eye. the surgery rang later to tell me all went well with the small procedure and i could pick the cat up later in the afternoon. I went in to pick the cat up a vet nurse came down who deals with the surgery's and explained everything to me in detail and an information sheet on aftercare. I have to say apart from them being a bit more expensive than others, it was worth paying the money for top quality service and care.

We had a situation with our cat who had injured himself early on a Sunday morning. We were so grateful to know about this clinic (not our regular vet clinic).
We took our cat in and were seen to almost immediately. My cat had to have surgery to stitch his wounds up and stay overnight with them. This was a very expensive but my cat was well cared for. I was comfortable to leave him there, especially as it is only a cat clinic, so no dog noises to further traumatise him.
I wouldn't think twice about taking my cat there again for anything serious. Not our regular vet, as we have a vet a few hundred metres from our house (but wasn't open in our emergency).
