5 reviews about The Cheesecake Shop

A bit expensive ($40 for a large cake!) but they are absolutely delicious. I get a cake from here every six months or so for various birthdays and events, and the service is always fantastic. I am always served by the same girl, who is great! Five stars!

Approximate cost: $20-$40

I agree their cakes are very yummy but a bit overpriced for what you receive.
They do have a 25% discount voucher in the Entertainment Book

The staff are okay but the variety of cheesecakes and other cakes are wonderful. Love them for special occasions.

we always buy are cakes here for special occasions. My son calls it the grandma shop because of the picture of the old lady on the sign, and asks if he can have his birthday cake from there. My favorite is the apple cake. Yumm!!

I had ordered a white chocolate mudcake and was very dissappointed with it as it wasn't white cake it looked more like a caramel cake plus the texture of the cake was not like a mudcake I am sure it was frozen then thawed out for sale as it was very wet and I thought all cake's were made fresh so overall it tasted ok but not what I expected a mudcake to be like.

Approximate cost: $24.95

Stopped in tonight on the way home to see what was on offer for dessert and decided to partake in one of their baked marble cheesecakes.

The service felt a little rushed, possible because it was about 15 minutes before closing time, and when asked for advice on what might be worth a try, there wasn't a whole lot of thought or enthusiasm provided.

We made our purchase (and no sooner were we out the door than the staff member looked to have begun the process of closing up shop early) and headed home to sample a slice.

Cutting the cake was not much fun, in fact it was arguably the worst I've experienced when it came to easy cutting. It seemed to have been refrigerated a little too long or at the wrong temperature so the cake stuck to the knife making a mess of it. I wonder if she'd started packing things up too early and the cake should not have been so cold. I dunno, I'm not an expert, just a consumer who ate mangled cheesecake for dessert.

Approximate cost: $23
