Hot day today and felt like some ice cream. Went to this little hidden treasure and am so glad I did! It's a bit out of the town just out by itself, not a place you would usually come across easily, but it was packed! I got peanut butter fudge and Turkish delight but it was a hard choice with so many incredible flavours. Soooo delicious! I will be going back again until Ive tried every flavour!

Stopped in here for a breakfast while staying in Moonta, it is a little out of town, but the locals recommended we go here. Had some coffee and sat down for some homemade delicious pancakes. We were lucky to get a seat, it was so busy, such a popular place and we could understand why. Great coffee, great pancakes and excellent friendly service. We returned for some gelate the following day, so many flavours, they apparently change each day. This place is a must when you are in Moonta.

This cafe is out of the main town centre, past the cemetery. It is sign posted near the entrance.

It was such a pleasant surprise when arriving here, with seating outside under cover and more seating indoors.

We visited the store two days running for ice cream cones. We all had 2 scoops each. they advertise the flavours change daily and although I was disappointed the flavour I loved on day 1 was not available on day 2, there was still a fantastic selection to choose from.

As we were there in December 2013, I just thought this was a fabulous place to get out of the heat and enjoy a special treat at the same time. A definite must!!

They also sell pancakes - yum!!

This little Gelateria is hard to find if you don't know where it is, but well worth finding, they serve the best home made gelati!
They also have yummy pancakes and coffee and we stop in here regularly when in Moonta.
A real treat for kids and adults alike I highly recommend The Coffee Barn Gelateria.
The staff are lovely, and the prices are very reasonable, a must do if you are in Moonta!
They are open on weekends and most days in school holidays.

We had the most wonderful gelati here at this afternoon tea stop. Also has coffee etc, pancakes both sweet and sour but the highlight was the Gelateria. I can never go past gelati. This coffee etc stop is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and everyday school holidays and public holidays. Not much point finding it if it is closed.

The Coffee Barn Gelateria offers the best homemade gelati I have ever tasted. They also offer amazing pancakes (great for the sweet tooth) and coffee. Couple this with fantastic service, and it makes for a delightful experience!! Just be sure to keep an eye out for it, as it is not easily visible from the main road.
