I AM NEVER GOING BACK THERE.
I have been there many times between 2012 - 2014 and couldn't fault the service, quality or value. However, since February 2015, the service has deteriorated. During 2015, I went there 3 times.
The young staff have NO IDEA on how to wait on you. Their manners and approach are appalling.
I received dirty cutlery to use, I received dirty crockery to drink from, and chipped plates to eat off. The last time my small son ordered a lemonade and he was given a can & no straw! YOU'VE GOT TO BE JOKING? It wasn't take away that we were there for, but a sit down lunch. Previously drinks were served in a mug.
The wait time is ridiculous long, even when they are not busy (with 6 customers already eating) and they don't serve chips after 3.30pm when school has been let out - where's the logic in that? Oh, and they don't serve you at the table around 3.45pm - it is only takeaway - but their tables and chairs are still scattered all over the footpath across 3 shops.
Food is poor quality now - order a serve of scones & see what you get - a portion of Damper - disgraceful. Chips were coated in a spicy coating, even for children.
I am NEVER, EVER going back there and I will NEVER, EVER recommend them.

We used to come to this restaurant often and the food was really lovely. In the past few years I think the management has changed a couple times and seems to be going downhill. The food was really average and not very hot. The girls are friendly but could do with a bit more training. This place really needs a kick up the b** - in such a great trading position they need to lift their game

I went there with a couple of friends for afternoon tea. Coffee is excellent & so are the desserts! Very pleasant environment on a sunny day with efficient & friendly service.

I love this little cafe in wahroonga, right across the road from beautiful Wahroonga park. They have nice coffees and teas, and delicious food. I went there on the weekend and had a tandoori chicken burger, thats really quite a meal, comes with salad and chips, its actually 'to die for' ! The service is great, even though there was a wedding reception going on inside, the waitresses made sure no-one out side were ignored. Its very nice to sit out side in the nice weather and watch the people enjoying the park across the street.

Good location for the cafe near Wahroonga Park. It is a little pricey, but generally food is good. Best to book if you are going for breakfast on the weekend.

The Coonanbarra Cafe is in a great location and the food is great! One of the nicest cafes in the area for breakfast or lunch but prices are only average.

Connanbarra serves amazing food and the service is fantastic - friendly and always with a smile. The cafe is also in a serene location across from a park.

This is a lovely cafe seating is outside. The menu is sufficient. The food is very overpriced and portions are small. The food is generally good though bit very inconsistent

The atmosphere is relaxed. The cafe provides indoor or outdoor dining which are both comfortable experiences. Staff are efficient and provide great service. The cafe is very popular with locals and is always busy!
