After visiting quite a few wineries nearby we felt we needed to fill our stomach with some hearty food before continuing. The General was in the perfect location and also offered more wine for us to enjoy with our meals. Such a pleasant relaxed atmosphere, the menu is seasonal, servings are generous and staff very friendly and attentive. We will be returning with friends very soon.

We had driven by a few times and decided to stop and do some wine tasting, I am so glad we did. This establishment has only been open a few weeks, it is well layed out, nicely furnished, exposed brickwork and wood beams, lovely ambient lighting, fabulous wine tasting and extremely friendly staff. They also offer some food to go along with the wine tasting. The offer the whole package, well worth a look in on one of your wine tasting tours.
