Went there with friends a few months back and it was ok. The food was nice but we waited close to an hour for our food it was pretty ridiculous. Price wise was ok but personally wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Good outdoor area but pretty much filled with smokers (am a non-smoker) so this is a turn off. Prices high for the cafe style food served (in my opinion) although food is fine, serving size ok and so is the service. No wow factor here.

I feel the same. Don't know why everyone raves about this place. It's ok, but I'd rather go elsewhere

Great attentive staff. Thought the pricing too high and quality of food low compared to it.

Of the many items on the menu, ours came out just that bit too quick to have been made off the cuff. For a bowl of Spag Bol, I expect it hot and delicious. The spaghetti was similar to a Bi Lo packet and the meat sauce scarce. My partner's carbinara was saturated in oil. She left it in the bowl, 1cm in height.

Stubbies of beer were not cold enough.

For my $90- I would have liked colder beer and nicer meals.

This is a great place to catch up for a lazy weekend brunch (also serves lunch & dinner). Their prices are quite reasonable (especially the breakfasts). The atmosphere is funky and they have a great outdoor eating area which is always busy (although mainly a smoking area). The pasta and other mains are huge. We have been here a few times and we've had doggy bags each time!

Part of the Groove Train chain of restaurants, there is a great range of food ranging from Pastas, Pizzas to steaks and even some Asian Fare. Serving sizes are generous and I guarantee enough to make most people full! My favorite here is the Club sandwich with fries/chips. Great for when you want to indulge a bit for lunch but not break the bank.

I love this place! Such a cool vibe, whether you're seated in the outdoor area under the heaters on a cold Melbourne night, or inside at a table or sitting at one their quirky arcade game tables. Huge variety of menu, I've been there for brunch, lunches, dinners and also a late night coffee with friends and have never had a problem. LOVE their chai lattes... so cute. On weekend nights it gets to be a bit busy as it's a bit of a hangout, since they have their groovy music playing, not too bright lighting and pretty cheap meals. Decent size too.... always so much to choose from. And they serve alcohol which is of average price. Good parmas!

Great place. Sit relax and have a coffee or eat the great food. I have never walked out disappointed and as a chef I would know good food when I see it. Keep up the great service guys. Thumbs up ;)

I love going to the Groove train, its local, staff are friendly and helpful, the service is good and the food delicious.
The menu is varied-ranging from a light lunch to a main...pasta, pizza, risotto, focacias and salads. Something for all tastes. Great coffee, and a good place to go for a late night coffee and drinks.
