Don't mind the fish and chips that comes from this take away joint. nice but a bit oily for my liking. always enjoyed the crunch from chips which at times this lacks. Very quick and convenient with a nice decor for eating outside there shop in the sun.

better than most - this place gets very busy on the weekends and i think its the reason why sometimes they stuff up the orders! chips are usually good one time they were a little cold but it didn't put me off totally

The hip chip is much like any other average fish and chip restaurant you expect find. Food could be a little less oily, chips could have a little more crunch. This used to be a fair bit nicer although lately has been below par. The service was nothing special either.

After Hip Fish being a great fish n chip shop, the new management saw a downfall in quality. The chips went from crispy to soft, and the fish too. I found the price to be quite a bit higher than those of other fish n chip shops and was therefore disappointed that not only was it expensive but was poor quality

Approximate cost: $10
