Best charcoal chicken burgers goin around!!! i totally agree with jdub!!! the only thing i can think of that keeps them from being the best you will ever taste is mediocre chips, they're good, but not the best. Also, the por service is expected due to small businesses hiring of 15 year old students, but it is still very quick.
Approximate cost: $10
The gyms decor and machinery is very much like it's price ... cheap. As said below, paying $4 a session as a student is unprecedented value, and the equipment and staff get the job done. If your not a gym snob this is adequate for all gym goers needs, although is no inspire gym.
By far my favorite sushi place. Because of the amount of business they get the sushi always tastes really fresh which is also very important when dealing with foods like raw fish. If your into sushi, at $2 a hand roll, you cannot go wrong.
The hip chip is much like any other average fish and chip restaurant you expect find. Food could be a little less oily, chips could have a little more crunch. This used to be a fair bit nicer although lately has been below par. The service was nothing special either.
A very good local cinema. It makes a refreshing atmosphere with its non franchise feel. It completed a very nice refurbishment some 3 years ago and now has 4 comfy cinemas that aren't to big. It does play some good art house movies although sometimes doesn't have some of the big releases.
Don't be fooled by msy's dodgey website, because they have the newest parts for computers at some of the cheapest prices. You can easily download a parts list from there site. Some disappointments with the store include the layout of products as its difficult to no what you're looking for, and its often hard to ask for help.
The Cheapest liquor and widest range in the area. 1st choice superstores are all new so they have a flashy decor and effective layout for finding what you want. The wine and beer range i so wide with international labels seldom found at other branches. !st choice is a place to save money and try new things.
Probably one of the most advanced gyms in Melbourne. Really nice atmosphere for a workout, not full of kids or so on which makes it good for more mature age gym goers. Programs are situated on a usb which you can plug into each machine which tells you what to do. Very clean private change rooms as well.
This is a try at making a very gourmet fish and chip shop much like the new burger places opening around Melbourne. Funky decor is accompanied with a gourmet menu not often found at fish and chip store. meals like tempura vegetables and crumbed garlic mushrooms. This was just too greasy and too unusual for my pallet. Have heard the burgers are good although cannot confirm.
They make very quick production line style rolls, in a stile franchise company environment. The meat they use for the sandwiches (e.g. chicken, meatballs) is low quality, while there bread doesn't seem to fill you quite as much as a normal roll from a bakery. Subway over Mcdonalds, although go to a cafe for a sandwich over Subway.
