Really great atmosphere and a great place to catch up with mates for a beer or a meal. Staff are friendly and it has a good vibe. Live music is generally good here too

Went here recently with friends and family had heard about but hadnt been here. Great place to catch up food excellent and generous servings. Have live entertainment as well.

really great place to have a dinner in coffs harbour. We went there with friends and family and really enjoyed the dinner with drink. the staff was friendly. they also have a music band to make the dinner more enjoyable.

Was a little worried about going here for dinner with a child as there was a live band and it is very backpacker friendly, but the bistro is amazing! Their food is delicious and well priced. They are very generous size wise as well. The kids meals come with a drink and ice cream and fruit and are a great size too, not too much.
The service was fast and friendly. They have a different $9.50 meal each night too which is great.

good value and tasty bistro. bar a little rough on weekends and night time as in a rough part of town but cirtainly good for an afternoon beer and near the beach.

It was very busy but the service was quick and the food delicious.

They have $8.50 meals (set) each night and, while we tossed up about ordering off the menu, we saw others with the $8.50 schnitzels (fridays) and chose that.

It was exceptional value. A large plate full and delicious!

The Hoey is awesome since its been renovated, the facilities are more modern, more spacious, the doubled sided bar divides the bistro/games area from the pub/tab area. Nice beer garden which allows for children, also kids games and pool table close to bistro for convenience. The $8.50 daily meals are good value, and presented nicely. There are backpackers facilities now available at a cheap price and an internet cafe, a bottleshop, and a 2 min walk to the beach, seems to be very popular now with Sunday sessions and regular gigs.

We went here for dinner to check out the $7.50 meals, a little skeptical at first. There is a different $7.50 meal on every night of the week, and we got the steak chips and salad. The steak was cooked perfectly, the salad was fresh and the meal was a really good size. Decor and atmosphere was fine, what you would normally expect from a pub bistro. I would definitely recommend a meal here though, what a bargain!
