My husband and I attended Esther's classes and found them to be very informative. We weren't previously aware that we had "choices" and were able write a birth plan to enable the most natural labour possible. She helped me approach labour without fear and taught me the techniques of breathing amongst other things. I particularly found the session on breastfeeding useful, in which I learnt about skin to skin and the breast crawl. Amazing! And it worked. Our bub latched on herself when she was ready without interference. Without doubt giving birth was the hardest, most intense thing I have ever done, but I managed with just a little gas towards the end and arrived to the hospital fully dilated! Esther was very caring and supportive and passionate about hypnobirthing and I believe the course empowered me to ultimately have a wonderful birth experience without any real trauma. Thank-you!

We went to Esther's weekend Hypnobirthing workshop for our second bubba (now 7 years old). It was great to attend with my husband - it really helped us connect with each other and the reality of what was coming, and helped to put me in a good, solid, calm place for my son's birth. Thanks Esther!

Esther is not only friendly and caring but also informative, experienced, and easy to talk to. My husband and I had two day-long classes and both of us felt ready for labor after addressing our fears, learning more about the labor process, and most of all the breathing techniques I used during my labor/birth. I still use what I learned when trying to relax while breastfeeding and de-stressing. If you're trying to decide whether or not to take these classes I say DO IT!

Esther helped me to experience a pain-free, drug-free amazing birthing experience. The midwives were ready to send me home until I said "I think I need to push". They finally checked and I was fully dilated. 2 hours after I entered the birthing centre, I was holding my gorgeous little boy. If you want to have a wonderful birthing experience as nature intended, open up your mind to the possibilities and let Esther guide you in your journey.

I did the two day hypnobirthing class with Esther and she was fantastic. She is very knowledgable and has a calm, supportive positive air about her. She provided alot of information and I was able to use the techniques easily during labour. The meditation and hypnobirthing technique CDs were particularly effective as I'd already done alot of reading by that stage, I knew the physiological aspects but couldn't envisage the emotional and physical journey. The CDs allowed me to picture what was going to happen and breathe and meditate through it, which I did effectively during the birth. I listened to them at night before going to sleep and they totally relaxed me and taught me effective techniques. My birthing companion (a student midwife) also did the course with me and this enabled us to operate effectively as a team during labour. I did the course at home which was much more relaxing and pleasant than the childbirth course that I did at the busy city maternity hospital. I believe that Esther's course made a huge difference to my birthing experience. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Hypnobirthing course gave me the confidence and skills to have an amazing, relaxing and relatively pain free natural labour. I would thoroughly recommend all pregnant women wanting a drug free relaxed birth to do it.

We utilised the HypnoBirthing services of Esther for the birth of our first child. We found her teachings informative and relevant. We were able to put her methods into practice and had a wonderful birth experience. My husband was also involved and was fantastic throughout the entire process as he knew what to expect from me and from the birth.
It was such an empowering experience that has stayed with us and the practices we learnt were also relevant with our next pregnancy and it allowed me to naturally birth twins.
Esther is non judgemental or preachy. She is kind, caring and wants you to have the best birth experience as possible.
