It's all correct - I had my knives sharpened and the service was first rate. I hadn't realised what a wide range of knives they have for sale - wish I'd known that earlier. Anyway, I bought myself a really good Christmas present - garden secateurs. I now wouldn't take my knives anywhere else for sharpening.

Yup believe all the awesome reviews! Just a great service and top blokes as well. Had a set of global kitchen knives and a spyderco pocket knife sharpened for the first time and they are better now than when i first bought them. Tim said that i would probably cut myself and wouldn't even know it, and i did so taking them out of the knife bag i purchased at the shop to bring them home in. Dot the shop manager is great to, just loves a pat.

The service from the boys here was fantastic! Not only did they repair my broken knives and sharpen them but then also showed me how to correctly sharpen them myself for keeping them in best condition.
So well priced, quick turnaround. Will be going back anytime I need knife help.

We have had knives sharpened and purchased new ones from Mark for about 5 years -best service we have found in Brisbane. Also learnt how to use a steel properly to maintain an edge.

I received good advice on what was and what wasn't worth sharpening and the knife and garden shears which I took in had never been so sharp. The service was rapid and value for money excellent.

If you have blunt knives you need to see The Knife Doctor. I recently took my whole scanpan knife block set to Mark for sharpening. I am amazed at the service and how quickly I was able to get them back, and how reasonably priced he is.The knives have never been sharper . He was also able to remove the rust on them that was due to living on the edge of Moreton Bay.He was also able to reshape a carving knife with a broken tip. He has since sharpened numerous knives for nearby neighbours and they couldn't be happier. Thanks again Mark

I needed a new pocket knife, my old Gerber of 20+ years finally showing signs of wear.

I was there for well over 45 minutes, trying this knife, then this, then another, and on and on and on. Mark was very patient made some good suggestions, one of which I walked away with!

Completely different to what I was use to but very happy with my new knife.

I broke the tip of my housemates $300 Japanese knife and I thought it would be unfixable. I panicked and started hunting to buy the same knife but then I thought maybe I can get the tip reshaped. I phoned around and Mark "the knife Doctor" said it would be easily fixed and at first I did not believe him. I went to see Mark and told him I planned on going to mister minute and it was a good thing that I didn't because Mark has cooling machines to protect the blade. 30 minutes later the knife was as good as new and I am forever indebted. Mark was honest and helpful and I would go to him again. The "knife Doctor" is certainly what he was. Thanks Mark. You saved me over $300 and from a very cranky housemate.

Mark is a cut above and so am I now that he has sharpened my knives. Simple, honest service and good advice. Showed me how to sharpen my knives at home as well. You can't go wrong with Mark.

This guy is the best... simple as that. I took my new hunting knife to another business and they butchered it... uneven grind, burnt tip. Took it to the knife doctor and he made it like new! Better than new. Cant reccomend him highly enough... you wont be dissapointed with his work.

Mark sharpened my knifes back to beautiful razor perfection, and is also a very patient pleasant bloke who showed me how to maintain them properly. Great service!

There isn't anything I can say that hasn't already been said.. Your knifes will thank you if you let Mark give them some of his TLC. $45 to get 6 knives sharpened and he recommend sharpening once a year, can't get better value than that..

I had no idea knife sharpening and repairs could be this good! I had a set of Global knives I was quite frankly embarrassed to even take in as they had been so poorly cared for. Two had chips out of the blade. The Knife Dr sharpened them, repaired the chips and got them gleaming again. I'm now a loyal customer for life and also back in love with my knives! The repair per knife was only $13 for a large knife (and significant chip mid blade) .

Mark is a scholar and a gentleman.
He appears to have encyclopaedic knowledge of metallurgy and all technology related to sharpening/honing blunt utensils. Best of all he has the patience to share his vast knowledge and to educate his customers without a hint of patronising. I learnt plenty during my short visit to his shop last Saturday. He did a first grade job resculpting the chipped tip of my santoku as well as sharpening some pocket knives. All at a very reasonable price and minimal wait. I am knew to his business but definitely coming back soon.

Highly recommended! Dropped off my set of kitchen knives in the morning and picked them up the same afternoon. The knives are now impeccably sharp. The owner was very professional and took the time to show me how to sharpen my knives using a steel. Customer service at its best and also very reasonably priced! I'll definitely be back.

Went to buy a few butchers knives and walked away with our 15yr old kitchen knives restored to their former glory. Fantastic fast and reliable service, will be back and highly recommended. Great selection of new knives in store!

We left our cooking knives here for sharpening by Mark. They were completed the same day (a few hours later in fact). The quality of the sharpening was excellent - the knives were almost better than new - and the price was also very good.

There is also a large range of knives instore as well.

I took four knives to get sharpened, two expensive chefs knives and two field knives. He did an amazing job on all the knives. Great service and a great price.

Took in my knives and chisel sets to be sharpened. expected the normal mundane get em in get em out attitude of small business however got the complete opposite. Absolute legend of a bloke. More than generous with his time even offering to show me how to sharpen myself and ensure longevity. Always going back to this shop!
