Open Steak Sandwich was lovely and the Chunky Chips were delicious. The food is always lovely, I've never had a bad meal there and love their chunky chips

Used to go quite often with my family the atmospher has changed a bit and has became loud inside but still good quality food and large meals that aren't overly priced. Great courtyard for outside dining

the match has yummy food but it is a bit pricey and the service isnt too good. i like the pizza they have but am not a fan of them menu. i probably wouldn't go back much.

Modern, a Pizza and Pasta restaurant that is hip and classy. Used by a lot of the younger generation to kick back and enjoy a wine or a beer after work. Expensive meals that I don't really think are worth it for the price you pay, and because of this only tried it once. Good menu with a range of foods not just pizza and pasta

I would say they are great for the younger set. I'm a little old now I feel in my 50's lol.

I took my girls here each for their 18th birthdays so they could order a cocktail as I was told they have the best in town. We had lunch and each time I took one of my girls when they turned 18, I felt old.

The food is good and there was plenty of it. Again I felt old in there and was surrounded by ppl who all seemed to be under 30, I think it's just me feeling my age!!

Best cocktail menu we often go here before a night out for cocktails and a meal great to sit out the front in the nice weather and have a few cocktails

Great place to dine out, bar for cocktails, meals are fab and worth the price. Service isnt too bad but not completely the best could step that up a knotch. desert case looks to die for.

The food at the Match is always fantastic, with a great range of new and exciting dishes to select from. The worst thing is the service, as it is quite poor and they generally close up around 9.30pm (and kick people out) which is quite early for a restaurant in the centre of town

Perhaps they were having an "off Day" but the service provided last Saturday evening was quite poor. We were a party of 9, told when booking that we could be seated outside if tables were available. On Arrival tables were available, but we were told we must sit inside. It was very noisy, and difficult to hear, so I asked the head waiter again, but we were never moved, Our food took 40 minutes to arrive, and groups arriving after us received there meals first. It generally felt as though our needs were not met, and our expectations were too high. Pretty poor customer service.

I have eaten there a few times, and would again. Friendly approachable staff and the prices are great too. Good food variety and the wood fired pizzas are the best I have had in Bendigo.

I really enjoy the food from the match. There is such a big variety that I try something new every time I go. I have had dinners there with lots of friends and dinners with just my partner. The atmosphere is so relaxing and enjoyable - I really love the match. I haven't always enjoyed the customer service, but most of the time it has been good!
