Not impressed with the Mawson club. Went there for a friends birthday dinner and my partner and I had to pay a membership fee just to dine there when I thought we would just be signed in as guests.

The restaurant food is overpriced along with the drinks. Our meals took over 45 minutes to arrive at our table. I found there wasn't many people at the club. I did liked the decor thought is was very modern and clean.

The Mawson Club is a large club with a restaurant, bar and a very large indoor and outdoor seating section. Every time I've gone it's been very quiet but the food and service is always nice. The decor is fantastic and it's a shame not that much business is there.

Had coffee here twice now and was very pleasantly surprised. The service is good, the venue is comfortable and they have a kids play area. On one occasion the play section was full of young children, it looked as if a mothers group was meeting for coffee. Despite the number of children it was still very comfortable in the cafe area, without noise from the little ones. A good spot.

I have been a member of The Mawson Club since the club first opened and have watched the popularity decline significantly in the last few years.
The food is overpriced and very poor quality, the drinks are more expensive than other clubs, and the staff aren't always as polite as they could be.
There used to be weekly raffles with nice prizes, but that has changed to meat raffles which are a lot less appealing.
