Went to Newport arms today and what a waste of time. Not a foodie but the food was just terrible. One bar man could not be bothered and the whole place looked like it needed a complete overhaul. Not worth it and never again.

Beautiful location for this hotel with such a large space you can choose where you would like to enjoy your time. The outdoor area is lovely and the food is always good

I love their outdoors area, especially with the great work that the new owners have done in refurbishing and revitalizing the place. THe atmosphere is always really relaxed and chilled, but with a cool beat to it at the same time.

Beautiful pizzas. I had a vegie pizza and my friend had one with Chorizo. They were both really yummy! Also shared a bottle of wine (which was reasonably priced) and a jug of Margarita which was delicious too! Amazing views especially when the sun is setting!

The Newport Arms Hotel is in a beautiful location, my friends and I visited here for lunch over the weekend. It was quite busy there and parking was scarce. Our food was pretty good and good value. We enjoyed ourselves, and would come here again.

I've always wanted to go and visit, especially since the beer garden sounds awesome

We went to the Fathers Day Buffet breakfast at Newport arms this year. We always go out for breakfast for fathers day and mothers day but usually to a cafe. The great thing about the buffet was the variety and the fact that they made sure they kept topping up the buffet with fresh food. The only complaint I would have was the coffee which was very ordinary, also the tea was very weak, but the selection of pastries, different type of eggs and hot food was good. A little on the expensive side for what you got at $27 for adults. They class an adult as everyone ovre 12, so I had to pay adult prices for my kids. I don;t think I'll come again as it is cheaper and better (especially the coffee) at a cafe, but it was a good experience

Approximate cost: $27

We have now been to the Arms many times on a Thursday night as they have $5.00 pizzas. I have tried a few of them now and have loved them all. They are a good size and lots of flavour. Great service and the pizzas are ready in no time.

Approximate cost: $5

There is no doubt that this pub is in a great location and serves great food. The only downside for me is the crowds on weekends. I definetely prefer to go mid week if possible to avoid the crowd.

The Newport Arms is set in a fantastic location- you cannot go wrong here on a good weather day. They have a playground for the kids, so its an ideal family pub. The meals are expensive for a pub, and pretty average, but it is still worth the while for the views. You can often get Buy One Get One Free vouchers.

Worth the distance travelled to come here for the view, atmosphere & food. I used the 2 for 1 offer voucher from the Entertainment Book for having lunch here with a girlfriend and enjoyed the time-out.
