Best place ever! Fun for adventuring around. It's free unless you want to do some sort of tour (like to seal rock). Not many places like this exist anymore. It's beautiful, and can be appreciated by anyone.

I hadn't been to Phillip Island in many years, so this past Easter I took my daughter's to Phillip Island to explore some where new for them! The Nobbies is fantastic! It has the lovely walkways along the cliff where we saw the blow hole and quite a lot of birds!! They also have a great interactive section for the children to learn about what swims in these particular waters and what they eat etc. They also had a big t.v. screen where you can manoeuvre the binoculars and find the seals that are resting on seal Rock! They have a café where you can get something hot to eat and drink as well as a small indoor playground for the children to play in. They also have a gift shop where you can purchase so many things!! Great little souvenir gifts which my children love! I must do for families :)

This is such an amazing place. We went here just before seeing the penguins and enjoyed a nice drive between the two places (which aren't that far apart) and on the return trip saw several kangaroos which was fun. At the nobbies itself there is an incredible network of board walks which give a great walk and amazing views out over the water. You can also see out to Seal rocks. I didn't see any seals myself but have heard of others being able to see them from the centre. There is also a nice gift shop and other facilties at the centre which make it great for tourists. While there I saw more seagulls at one time than I'd seen before and also had fun watching a cape barron goose with its goslings. Definitely worth the trip

This place is fantastic for a visit. When you go outside you can walk onto the board walk and if you are lucky will see baby penguins nesting under the board walk. You will also see seals, heaps of seagulls and lots of other bird life. Make sure you bring a warm jacket and beanie for the winter as it gets very nippy outside. If you have some loose change you can look through the telescopes at the wildlife.

There is also a visitors centre where you can observe bird colonies nesting.

Everything is free plus you get lots of excurse.

There is a cafe and a gift shop where you can purchase things if you wish.

There is a great display area inside the Nobbies Centre that has great information about the sea and sea life in the area around Phillip Island. When working, there are cameras that offer a view of the Seal colony off the Nobbies. There is a fantastic boardwalk that takes you around the visitor's centre and lets you observe the nesting bird colonies. In early November, the silver gulls were nesting and we were able to see roosting birds, chicks of all ages and all sorts of comings and goings. The scenery is spectacular, the boardwalk is well maintained, there is a cafe and children's play area inside for inclement weather and the gift shop has a range of merchandise with prices starting at less than $2.

Approximate cost: $Free
