The Nook by Gislers takes one back to the old days of road side fruit and veggie stalls. With the ever expanding urban spread of Brisbane I'm amazed that this little gem is still in existence. The Nook prides itself on Farm Fresh Fruit and Veggies and together with a good selection of fresh, well priced produce, they also sell organic honey, organic yoghurt and free range eggs. At $5.50 a dozen I thought the free range eggs a little pricey, but that's probably because I've got my own free range hens laying for me :) The Nook also sells Ian Gisler's Home Made Pies, cold drinks, ice and a nice assortment of essential food stuffs. Everything is presented in a charmingly appealing way.

They are always friendly staff, I quite often have a small chit chat with them as they are totaling my goods up and their prices are competitive. A good range I have to choose from with them.
