We had lunch with a couple of friends there yesterday and it was perfect! They have a lovely decor based on an Irish pub and village and the service was friendly. Our meals were wonderful and very well priced (thanks to the split-the-bill promotion. The open steak sandwich is a favourite but there are several other choices that are equally good.

This is an old heritage-listed hotel, beautiful old exterior, but nicely refurbished inside,
We recently went to a dinner-and-show and saw Ross Wilson. We had a group of 10, all seated together at a good-sized round table close to the stage.
The meal was good, served promptly, and it is a really good venue for a show. We were able to stay seated at our table, others came in just for the show, and stood around the walls of the room or near the bar, but there was still adequate room. Carpeted and a comfortable venue.
Value at around $60 per head for 2-course dinner and show.
