So the Odyssey Project sounds like a 1970s science fiction movie. You would expect flashing lights, robots that are either comedic sidekicks or evil killers and rounded corners and streamlining everywhere.

Instead you have a whole in the wall coffee shop with some very basic furnishings. On one hand it looks very Hipster, on the other hand it also looks cheap (the Hipster look is about spending more to get something that looks cheap).

You go here to drink coffee, but also buy bags of coffee to take home with you. Along with coffee they also do some very fancy donuts and some cute waffles. Other food here is maybe a little disappointing.

Best coffee in Brisbane!! They roast on site so coffee is always very fresh - great value for money.

I don't drink a lot of coffee. It's not that I don't like coffee, it's just that I don't like bad coffee. I'm tired of buying a coffee to find that it's burnt, undrinkable and unpleasant. My first thought on drinking the Latte I bought here was "This is how all coffee should be!"

The place itself is a little hole-in-the-wall type business. It's not on Park Road, so most people will miss it, but it is well worth the extra two minute walk to get here. That's probably less than the amount of time you'll spend in line waiting for an inferior coffee on Park Road.

The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and give great service and great coffee.

Next time you're in Milton, forget about Park Road, make the extra effort, and enjoy a much better coffee experience!
