Mmm best pancakes! But I also really love the deluxe fries! It’s great they aren’t open late on the weekend so you can go after the movies !

If you are in a special mood for pancakes its nice every once in a while. The savoury food is yummy too but a bit overpriced. Not very cost effective to go very often unfortunately.

Approximate cost: $40

I used to love this place so much and come here all the time, but I've hardly been able to return since going vegan! It's a shame, because the atmosphere was always so chill (yet thriving) and I always loved the 'Alice in Wonderland' theme. The meals were unique and it was about the only place where it was socially acceptable to order a main or a dessert first! I notice the Pancake Parlour has gluten-free options available; if they had egg- and dairy-free options available too, I'd be back in a heartbeat! My only complaint is that the drinks were often a bit overpriced (sometimes costing almost as much as a meal).

I go to the Pancake Parlour when I want to treat myself or for a quick meal with friends before catching movie.

The atmosphere is quirky and fun (giant chess set and moving flying machine). The tables can feel a little sticky and it can be loud but that is because it is a popular spot and generally always busy, especially on a Friday or Saturday night.

The food is lovely, no pun intended, but can be overpriced if not brought on a special or coupon. I often get the Traditional Bacon and Eggs - bacon, two pancakes, two eggs and whipped butter and it is always fresh, well sized and tasty. For $16.90 its not too bad in value.

I also recommend the Cheese and Potato Pancake but at $19.70 it can be expensive for a pancake and salad. The Bavarian Apple dessert is also delicious but at $18.30 its overpriced unless you can get it in a special combo. The drinks can take a long time to be delivered to your table as well so I recommend ordering as soon as you get there.

The staff are all super friendly but can muddle orders from time to time if it is busy. My husband ordered his breakfast without any mushroom as he's allergic and the plate came out with little pieces of mushroom on it as if they added it and quickly removed it when they realised. Unfortunately my husbands allergy cannot handle that kind of mistake and we had to wait to get a whole new meal which did take some time to recook and replace. However the staff were very apologetic and offered a 10% discount for the mistake.

Allergy suffers do need to be careful as they do cook their food on mass and will not use separate equipment to cater for a particular allergy, IE: all breakfast meals are cooked in one pan. Also, they will not offer a substitute or discount if you remove an item such as mushrooms from the breakfast so be prepared for that.

Overall good quality food, bit on the expensive side but great staff and pretty much a guaranteed good day out.

The price of a coffee at this Pancke Parlour store has got to be the most expensive generic coffee that I have ever purchased. (Even with the Pancake Parlour 2 for 1 coupon, coffee for 2 people is still overly priced) And how long does it take to make a coffee when there are only three other tables occupied? Fifteen minutes is far too long to wait after midnight for coffee after a movie!

WOW is all i can say ... The food is amazing and the service is quick no matter how busy the restaurant got. The staff tend to linger when its quiet but very helpful and really keen to keep customers happy

For me pancakes are surely not a hard dish to get wrong? Unfortunately the service here is much to be desired. It took 35 mins for the meals to arrive which I queried? The lack of care was evident. I think for the price they are selling flour, milk and eggs they require top notch dishes and impeccable service.

My wife and I ordered our usual potato and bacon pancakes, they were delivered to the wrong table, who actually cut into them, before the waitress realised her mistake, took them back, and tried to give them to us. Who does that?! Won't be returning.

I do like going to the pancake parlour but I don't think it is the best value for money. Having said that, the pancakes are beautiful every time and "IT!" is amazing! Service is good and we have never had trouble getting a table on the mornings we have been there. I wouldn't eat here regularly as it's just so expensive for what you get.
