Came home this (Friday) afternoon to find our garage flooded, due to our hot water heater giving out. Had no idea who to get, so found Dane's number on a fridge magnet and gave him a call. He was out in about an hour and a half with a new hot water heater, and hooked it up for us. Price was as per quoted, lovely fellow. We tossed out the other 5 fridge magnets now that we know that we can call on The Plumbing Effect in the future!

Good service, turned up when they said they would, plumber was lovely (even took his shoes off!). Could not criticize the service at all. Will certainly use again.

Re: The Plumbing Effect, I accepted their quote and made appointment for them to do necessary work, As i was taking a (unpaid) day off work to be home for them i plumber the day before to confirm, when they haven't arrived by lunchtime I called again to confirm, both times was advised would attend. I called them again after 4pm to be told they wouldn't be able to make it after all. I would never deal with them again.
