My husband and I wandered in here one night after deciding we didn't want to eat in. There's not much open on Centre Road after dark, so this was pretty much our only option, so we went for it. The décor could use some serious updating, especially when it's accompanied by the most bored looking guy on a synthesizer playing the cheesiest Italian music. My husband ordered the garlic pizza, I ordered the Carbonarra pasta. The pasta was alright, if I ever crave something creamy, I would not be disappointed to receive that. The pizza that my husband ordered was awful, though. The garlic was not cooked, the spring onions and kalamata olives mixed with the garlic was so over powering that is made it difficult to enjoy. I would never get the pizza there again. The service was okay, nothing special, pretty basic. Maybe I'll return, I haven't decided yet.

New owners in recent months...
Décor hasn't been changed and still looks really old hat, but where it really counts is the food.. and the standards here are just poor.
Pizza's were TERRIBLE. Really poor toppings, over cooked, weird ingredients on some generic pizzas that are all the same everywhere else you go.
Pasta was a bit too dry for our liking.
I looked at the neighbouring table hoping it was just us, their pasts in a tomato sauce looked much better (not sure how it tasted). . . . but their pizza looked very overcooked and unappealing also.
Definitely a shame, and unfortunately first impressions count.
Waitress was lovely, but I must say a little unprofessional. Serving people while yelling out and talking to us at the other side.
Just not for us.

A small group of us enjoyed pizza's here on a recent Saturday night. Although we turned up without a booking we were quickly shown to a table and our orders promptly taken despite the
restaurant being very busy. We were all very happy with the taste, size and quality of our pizzas. They tasted delicious. We will all be making a return visit very soon.

I love the Interiors here it has such a classic Italian restaurant style vibe. Pizza here is quite nice and reasonably priced but I have to admit the red checkered tablecloths are what won me over!

My wife and I tried this restaurant for dinner - Pizza, desserts and coffee. The food was good, the coffee ok, pricing reasonable, but service a bit patchy. The greeting and seating was good, but we were let pretty much alone after that. Decor is pleasant. Atmosphere good. Total for night was $45 for two. I would go again.

Have been there for dinner and for lunch. Excellent lunch for $14.50 mid week deal - pasta, salad and a glass of wine. Dinner was also really nice just the service wasn't very polished. Great pasta and pizza menu, only 1 steak dish on the menu if that's important to you. Will definitely go back and take friends with me. Plenty of parking at the rear which you can walk into the restaurant via. You will need to book as they are getting very popular.

We have eaten at Red Pepper several times and the service and food is really good. They have lots of staff on when it is busy and you never seem to wait too long for anything. We took my fussy sister and her partner and they had a great night!

We have always had a really good experience at Red Pepper. They have great pizzas--wood fired--and the other dishes we have tried have been very good as well. They have a good value lunch deal usually.

We ate here on a Thursday night and it was quite busy. The buschetta was very nice- fresh basil and tomatoes on crunchy bread. I had pork belly which could have been crispier but was still very tasty and my partner has a chilli pasta which was very tasty. We have also had Prawn pasta in the past which was excellent. In general, very good service and food for a suburban restaurant.

Approximate cost: $17-28
