Added a double garage, new entry hall and long veranda to existing brick veneer house, Also replaced a number of windows and doors, and made other minor internal changes and plasterwork. The entire project was notable for poor workmanship, lack of supervision and an 8 month over-run on the 4 month project. We are pleased with the electrical work, the garage door and the decorative skylight. Superior 1 Builders are also known as Collins Built Developments Pty ABN: 33 122 193 257
It is a pleasant place to stop away from the town centres with good choice of food, good coffee and friendly service. Light lunch for two with coffees cost about $25. Coffee beans grown on site, roasted and packaged for sale are available.

Dinner for five on a Monday night was a pleasant experience with friendly staff (we were initially the only diners) and efficient service. The food was good with generous serves and reasonable value for money. This is a large-ish BYO wine restaurant & bar located right in the strip shopping centre of Bentleigh. We will definitely go there again to try more items from their varied and extensive menu. Cost about $50 per head for 3 courses

Repointing and replacing broken terracotta tiles/ridge capping on a 30 year old roof. John quoted promptly and followed up with Dean to perform the work quickly and proficiently. We are pleased with the result and would use them again if needed. Their price was not the lowest, but John inspired confidence with his knowledge of roofing.

The Sculpture park is well worth a visit. With free entry and a very convenient café to sit to enjoy a light meal or coffee. This is a great place for families to go for an hour or three to wander through the extensive grounds, admire the many varied sculptures or to browse in the indoor gallery. The park is complete with a very large pond and many birds.
We have dined here on several occasions and the food is very good and reasonably priced. The ambience is quaint; often with the owner's young child wandering about, but the place feels homely. The Thai soup is wonderful and we will go again. Pricing is about $20 per head for main and dessert. They seem to do good takeaway business; more so than dine-in.

We called in for lunch on the weekend and were surprised by the friendly greeting and cheerful service. The Turkish lamb pasty was a little dry but the pumpkin soup excellent. Coffee was good and pricing reasonable at $20 total for two. On mentioning the dry pasty, we were offered a replacement to take home... The decor is welcoming, but spoilt a little by the floating floor that moves very noticeably when anyone walks past the table. Re-stumping should be on the to-do list.

I've been regularly staying at this hotel for over ten years. It was previously named Courtyard by Marriott. My recent visit was only one mid-week night and despite a recent redecoration, it is still the same rather dated appearance. It has everything that would expect for normal overnight accommodation and breakfast. Check-in/out is fast and efficient, car parking is simple and convenient, catering is good, beds comfortable, airconditioning and lighting ok, bathroom adequate, hot shower, TV, coffee making, etc. Not much to criticise, not much to rave about... except the lifts are exceptionally quick; there are only 6 floors. If you can get in at a good price, the Clarion offers good, solid value. It is also only a 5 minute walk to several restaurants or a longer 20 minute walk to all the restaurant action in Church Street.

Impressions from a one night stop-over: A well-designed, spacious, light and airy room with modern fittings. Great views from the window and a comfortable bed. Reasonable pricing and friendly service. The area is well off the main roads and quietness is a feature here. I have stayed here before and thoroughly recommend it as a stopover or extended stay if you are a golfer due to the closeness of the golf club.

A one night stop-over was a pleasant stay. The motel room was very old in design and decor with some lights and built-in radio/clock not working; but supplemented with a separate clock/radio and a new flat screen TV and very adequate room lighting. The licensed restaurant was well run and service quick and friendly with inexpensive and tasty meals. Two courses cost $40. Despite being close to railway and highway, my room was quiet. However, the bathroom lacked an exhaust fan and the room smelled musty when first entered. Overall the value is good and I would stay there again if needed.
