Went there last Friday evening to have dinner with my wife and daughter, a belated birthday dinner for my wife. As we have made bookings earlier, we arrived on time and were promptly seated by the waitress. We had a couple of red wine for starter while we browse through the menu. My daughter decided on the lamp rump, my wife had the tea smoked duck and I have the Oil poach salmon. We also asked for a stirred fry beans on the side and for dessert we ordered a chocolate mud cake and pavlova to share. While waiting for the main to arrive, we were served bread with olive oil and vinegar for dipping. The main finally arrived after 20mins and we digged into it as we were hungry. The serving size was not that big but I guess that is `fine dining'. My wife love the tea smoked duck. I took a bit of it too and I have to agree. It was delicious. My daughter was happy with the lamb rump but she thought it was also abit small. I was satisfied with my oil poach salmon as it was cook perfectly to my liking. The stirred fry beans were pretty good too. After we finished, it took a while before the dishes were cleared and the fresh dessert plates were replaced. Again we waited and after another 30 mins, I approached the waitress to ask if we can have our dessert now. The waitress apologies for our waiting and the dessert was served to us within 5 mins. Dessert was nice and we were glad we shared it as we would not be able to finish if we ordered them individually. Overall , it was a nice experience and for the next visit I will definitely order the Tea smoked duck.

Very cozy pleasant deco. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was very good. We all enjoyed our meals except for one who is quite a fussy eater and only likes very plain food with no sauces etc. He had the steak but without the mushroom sauce an accompaniments, it was quite a small serve. The mushroom risotto was excellent. Considering some cafes these days are charging similar prices for mains, this was good value.

Approximate cost: $24-$33
