I started going to the Ritz as a 5 yo. I am now 57 and still go whenever I am back home. I am also old enough to remember the original owners and I. Those days people would drive up from Sydney to go to the Beach's and the Ritz. After 50 years the tastes have not changed. It is simply the best fish, chips, scallops and burgers going.

Great food, very tasty burgers and chips. Always a good stop for lunch on the go when I am in adamstown/kotara. Friendly service every time I've been!

Great variety of hot food, and always cooked to perfection. They also stock a large variety of lollies for the children. Whenever I am up from sydney I always eat here

This takeaway isn't just the normal fish and chip shop, it does a lot of home made hot food, BBQ chickens, salad sandwiches, salad tubs along with all your regular fish and chip shop hot food. It also has a wide range of confectionery items and mixed lolly bags ready to go with all your favorite lollies in them. The staff are very friendly and will have a chat and laugh with you.

The Ritz is the best hamburger shop in Newcastle. It has a long and consistent history of quality and delicious food. It has an old-fashioned lolly counter and absolutely scrumptious takeaway food.

The Ritz Cafe serve the best fish and chips in town! I love their crumbed fish - it feels like it shatters in your mouth when you bite into it. Great chips too - I am lucky to live so close to this place!

Not much seating in the restaurant, but I'm more likely to take my food home to eat it anyway.

There is a nice selection of accompaniments, salads and delicious baclava to eat with your meal, too.

I was served quickly, the food is great and at reasonable prices. They have a wide range of everything, from drinks to lollies. Sure, the decor is nothing special, but overall, they are pretty good.
