The Riverhouse Cafe has a beautiful atmosphere with a lovely deck overlooking the river. The staff are very friendly although sometimes service is slow when they are busy. The food is delicious and well priced. The menu changes a few times throughout the year giving good variety. You can order using a QR code from your table which is convenient when dining alone with kids. I love eating here or stopping in for a coffee, it's a lovely cafe.

This is a great dinner! The food is really tasty, they have a good variety of burgers as well as great breakfast options - I love the pancakes. Servings are generous sizes and they've got a great range of drinks too. The play equipment is fun for my daughter and gives her something to do while we eat. I'm a repeat customer and highly recommend this place!

I hired mmdj to do the music for my wedding and they were great! They made everything very easy by giving me an online account where I selected the music I'd laike played for dancing, boquet toss and other special times throughout the night. Our dj was lovely and did a great job - no problems everything was very easy! Hihgly recommend!

A great cafe, they have a good number of tables outside but it is usally pretty busy and you have to clean rubbish off from the previous customer. Despite this the food is good!

Really tasty food here and not too expensive either! It is quite a small cafe but it's nice sitting outside. They offer sweet and savory options and they do good drinks too! I've been a few times after shopping and always had a good experience.

Well designed, fun and challenging escape rooms. There are currently 3 different rooms on offer all with different difficulty levels. It's really fun to go with a group of about 5-6 people. You get an hour to escape from the room by solving puzzles. The guy who runs it is really entheusiastic and clearly loves his job! It's something a bit different but definitely enjoyable. Last year this company also ran a treasure hunt around the Newcastle area which was also great fun to participate in. Give it a go, you'll love it - I've been back 3 times to try all the different rooms!

Great spot to stop for a sugar hit before early morning or late night lectures/tutorials. Most staff are friendly but there is one lady who works at the Callaghan store who could smile a little bit more, she always gave the impression she was impatient to move through here customers, never made small talk. Good range of food to choose from though!

A good place to call in to when you need a break from shopping. They have a good children's area and a decent looking menu (although I've only ever bought coffee here). Coffee is good quality and there aren't long wait times. There are plenty of tables inside but it can be a little crowded at times. Outside seating is also an option.

Pandora's is a great quality hair and makeup salon. I had my bridal hair and makeup done here and they gave top notch service. I was offered champagne and coffee throughout my appointment as well as biscuits. The girls there really listen to what you want and work with you to make sure you leave happy. They use napolian perdis makeup and really know how to apply it! I left there feeling and looking amazing. They did a great job and really know how to treat a bride well to make sure she has an amazing start to her special day! Highly recommend this place!

Very friendly staff here and the food is very yummy. They have a great range of smoothies and milkshakes which range from healthy to decadent. The stairs to the upstairs section are very narrow which can cause a bit of a bottle neck, especially because the toilet is located upstairs. Despite the lack of room it's a great spot if you're after a casual dining experience in Newcastle.
