Outstanding chinese food every time and the best combination short soup I have ever had., seriously good. Service and cleanliness of this restaurant is such a high standard. They deserve the many local awards they have won.

Fresh, tasty and lovely food.
Much better than all other Asian restaurant in the area!
I have eaten in and takeaway and the quality is just as good. The service is friendly and only after 2 visits the staff remembered what we liked.
No pre-cooked gloop, just really fresh and good quality (sometimes takes a little bit longer to cook)

I held my husband's 60th birthday lunch at The River Orchid on 25/09/11, catering for 21 adults and 6 children. We had the $20 banquet per adult, a couple of meals off the children's menu and a meal for a vegan. It was BYO wine and I purchased all beers and softdrinks. WOW - we couldn't ask for better. The food was delicious and in generous servings. The service was excellent with nothing proving too much trouble for our young waitress, Erin. I cannot recomment this restaurant highly enough and for people that have not had a good experience, give it another go!!

Chinese restaurant or kindy...kids running around and jumping of the elevated dining area, parents were oblivious. We queried our starters after 25 mins and was told one of the young girls had dropped it??? No apologies..After 40 mins we got up, paid for the wine and left...They asked if we wanted to pay for our meal as they were still cooking it!!!!..Suggest they get some adult staff who aren't on the pose!!!...Never again.

The food is authentic chinese cuisine. The service is run by quite young girls - that leaves a little to be desired. But overall what we go for is the food - yum
