I went here with a group of friends and we were served pretty quickly considering how many of us there were, the fish and chips were fairly priced/similar to the other stores in terrigal but their potato scallops and calamari rings were fairly cheap.

Overall the food tasted pretty good and it was a good experience.

I think the fish is nice and fresh - I have bought more fresh fish here (to cook at home) than I have from their 'fish&chips' section. I find that when I was in Terrigal at the time and was heading home it was convenient for me to grab some fresh fish from here so I could cook it for the dinner. The price at the time beat the price (for the type of fish I was buying) for the same fish at Erina Fair so I preferred to buy it here and it seemed fresher here too. The last time I purchased from here though kind of put me off because they upped their prices to Erina Fair prices and I haven't purchased from their for several months but I will check in again soon to see if they've dropped their prices back to where they were as that is what made it especially worth my effort to duck in there and grab the fresh fish.

(I find their cooked fish section not very good value for money because I visited in the peak of summer and I suppose they were catering for tourists then and were putting their prices up?) Prices are very seasonal in Terrigal!!

Just a good fish & chip shop. Enjoyed our meal and would go back. Had basics fish & chips and wife had the salad and prawns and all was good. The shop looks a bit tired but couldn't fault the quality of the meal.
Not saying it was the greatest experience of my life but didn't expect it to be. They just do what they do well and it therefore exceeded my expectations.
Reading the reviews however it does worry me about the motives of some people like "Douglas" in the review underneath - why would you bother writing that mate unless you had a massive chip on your shoulder?? I think the site administrators should look into posts like that that are clearly mean't to cause damage for no purpose other than some vendetta.

Just went out to have simple fish & chips but ended up having salmon chips & salad which was restaurant quality. Felt compelled to write this review as I was so suprised by what could have just been a slap up take away night out and turned into a really memorable feed. Good would return without hesitation.

It is one of the best ever fish n chips. Their barramundi ( wild caught) fillets are to die for. Perfectly cooked, and when you put fork on it, the fish separates into flakes, great texture and taste is unbeatable. You have to try to believe it. We only go there in Terrigal area.

I love the cooked prawn in that shop. they are so fresh. Staff are nice and friendly as well. They let me try the prawn before I made decision

Great fish and chips (and other things too!), very good value for money with large portion sizes, great for sharing. Can take a while to receive if busy though.

We had lunch at The Snapper Spot while staying at Terrigal recently. Everything was cooked fresh and we got to sit in the sun out the front while eating our lunch. Would recommend the Snapper Spot to others.

I liked their Kids pack, couple of pieces of fish with some chips, top it up with a few pieces of calamary and prawn cutlets. Used to be the best tasting fish and chips in town, but after it changed ownership I cannot say the same. also it became pricier too.

Awesome location! The food was great (i had fish cocktails, calamari, prawns and potato scallops). The only problem was the time it took to receive. Such a popular outlet!
