Here is a first - I am rating a club?? Had dinner here and I would say it was better than any "club" experience I have had. Food was well above average and as I joined at door got money off my meal and the 6 or more beers after that :) Seriously though an above expectation experience - also great for kids.

Had lunch here and was impressed. Nice fresh burger which was very filling. Good coffee. Only complaint was service was a tad scatty but don't think was deliberate just young staff not really well trained. Didn't let spoil our experience as overall pretty good.

Just a good fish & chip shop. Enjoyed our meal and would go back. Had basics fish & chips and wife had the salad and prawns and all was good. The shop looks a bit tired but couldn't fault the quality of the meal.
Not saying it was the greatest experience of my life but didn't expect it to be. They just do what they do well and it therefore exceeded my expectations.
Reading the reviews however it does worry me about the motives of some people like "Douglas" in the review underneath - why would you bother writing that mate unless you had a massive chip on your shoulder?? I think the site administrators should look into posts like that that are clearly mean't to cause damage for no purpose other than some vendetta.

Average without being great. Busy and in a nice little area and a pleasant spot to sit and have coffee but nothing was an absolute standout. Coffee tasted a bit burnt but the meal I had was ok, so wouldn't say don't go there or anything. About a 3 out of 5 is probably fair.

I agree with other reviewers it is expensive but the views are to die for. Had lunch there on a sparkling blue January day and any issues with price or anything probably evaporated in the outlook. Having said that food was good without being sensational but would go back just due to the service and overall experience.

Good pub which is always good for a feed and a bit of entertainment. Love going there when I can and would recommend to anyone for an informal afternoon or night out.
