This is also the takeaway shop owned by the owner of cho dumpling. Similar with what you can get from hurstville, you can get small hot dish for 4dollar. I like the fried chicken, fried pork belly with mushroom and the eggplant. The cold side dish is quite nice too. The cold noodle is very tasty, I like the special made sauce a lot. Yummy!

We just found this amazing take away by chance, it reminded
me of street food found in most parts of Asia and at street
food prices. we were in a hurry so we just purchased take away
when we got home we were truly impressed. Now we cant
wait to return to try many more dishes.FANTASTIC

I totally agree with you- so cheap, authentic and delicious! Truly can't get closer to taiwanese food than this.

Yet another AMAZING Taiwanese restaurant in the Haymarket. "The Taste of Cho" is a new store which is from the same owner's of "Cho Dumpling King" Haymarket and "Cho Express" in Hurstville. The range of dishes however is not as large but the taste and presentation look even better!

Everything on the menu is very very reasonably priced- a bento box lunch is just $7.50! My recent favourite though is their salt & pepper chicken- which is basically is the best take away chicken ever! They also have delicious bubble tea (which you can order with custard or grass jelly or both!) and cold noodles.

Highly highly recommended for a cheap eat in with the best quality and presentation.

Approximate cost: $5-9.50
