Greeted by friendly staff. We were one of the first to arrive but by the end of the night it was clear that the restaurant was understaffed. The meal was beautiful however I thought it was overpriced for what it was. Our first drinks were served with in 5 minutes of being seated but after that it was quicker to go to the bar rather than wait for someone to take our orders. The kids room is a great touch and the tv was a camera view of the play room for parents to keep an eye on their kids.

The venue was really nice and well put-together. It was not too modernised, just nicely done. The food was excellent. I had the chicken parma which was fresh chicken, beautifully done, and my partner had the BBQ chicken which she seemed to enjoy, except it was drowned in juice... therefore, the Potato Rosti was soggy. The service was adequate and friendly, but took a while to re-order drinks. The bar areas are really cosy, and I could see myself spending a lot of time and money in front of the open fires during winter.
