We ate here before a night out at the Powerhouse so needed our food served quickly. Within minutes we had ordered our food and within 10 were served all four meals. The salt and pepper calamari is always a favourite (love batter!) and the standard chicken and beef meals were ordered. My especial favourite (and my choice) was the crispy Duck with lemon. Duck can often be rubbery or just not done well but The Vietnamese did not diappoint - crispy duck was the clear winner on the night!
Price is always comparable to other restarurants in Chinatown and we were out in plenty of time to get to our next venue.

The food here is fresh and tasty, no real wow factor but consistently good. The serving sizes are really generous so you won't leave hungry. The staff are friendly and service is fast, and the prices are very reasonable. The menu is quite extensive and they are happy to tweak things for you if you want. A dependable Brisbane institution.

Decent Vietnamese food at amazing prices. Quality is great, the food is fresh and piping hot. Service is something to be desired, but it is a cheap restaurant in a fabulous location so it's easily forgiven. Meals are served quickly so that's a plus. Value is fantastic - huge portions and really cheap prices. If I'm in the area and hungry this is always one of the restaurants I consider!

The food here is amazing!! It is cheap and good portion sizes. There are also a lot of herbs. Nice staff.

pretty standard, decent meals for the price (aka cheap, filling, but not massively flavoursome.) not one for impressing visitors but good for a meal

Really cheap and you get what you pay for food is not at all authentic and ours was dry and horrible, had to send it back when we first got it. Meals came out at different times, staff extremely unattentive. Do not recommend.

The name says it all, if you want Vietnamese in the Valley where better than the Vietnamese restaurant. My family loves the fun rolls, good fresh food, very tasty and quite authentic...and the bill won't break the budget. A good night out for the whole clan
