Where do I start mmmmm
This morning a small group of mums met up to share Mother’s Day breakfast together at Hastings cafeteria (I organised the get together)
We arrived just before 9.am…. So about 10 minutes later we all placed our orders….breakfast ,coffees and teas….
Coffee and tea arrived reasonably quickly considering …. 10.1O still no food so I approached both the kitchen and then the cafeteria staff…apologise given saying it will be sorted…yet nothing!!!!!!!!!
10.30 still no breakfast served, but it was obvious other customers who had arrived after us were being served.
By 10.45 we asked for a full refund and left…
Poor service Westport…

Disappointing when my husband went last night yes (1 person as wife was away ) .They could not accommodate him for meal even though the restaurant was half empty. I realise there is a shortage of staff in most places but really . I myself have worked in hospitality for

Booked for 8 for a birthday dinner. The views from the restaurant were lovely and so were the waitstaff. Our entree of chicken skewers just wasn't right, it appeared that the chicken wasn't cooked through. It was returned. The [redacted due to personal identifier] comes back to us and said "we ate a piece and it was fine". Really?? Who does that, would you eat from as stranger's plate? and more importantly during covid times? I don't think so, so No, I don't believe you did that. I also was a little perplexed at why we were "challenged", true professionals cop it on the chin, apologise and learn from the experience. We were refunded. My biggest concern however, was how the [redacted due to personal identifier] screamed at his staff over our complaint and continually berated them, over what appeared to be other mix ups with other people's orders as well. We waited over 70 minutes for simple "club" food, so there were clearly problems in the kitchen. Unfortunately though, this experience with Aqua (the restaurant name) and the absolute pig of a [redacted due to personal identifier] , this party of 8 will not return. I wonder if he realises how he impacts, firstly the poor staff, the patrons and now the club's reputation and bottom line!!!!

Yes my daughter has been there over 5 years and she loves her job she gives excellent service and all the team do. Ashleigh has been working in hospitality for 12 years and worked in home catering healthy food business for us at 12 years old. She loves her career with a passion in food and is proud in working at westport and has made longlife staff friends. Food at Westport is yummi and view spectacular luv u ash

Great traditional club, lots of gaming machines, helpful and friendly staff, there roast in the bistro is good value for money, good views over the water, lovely to watch while having a beer.

I think this is a lovely place to take a family to have lunch or dinner, they have reasonable prices and if you are a member it's even cheaper...
It has a great lookout as its n the water.
I think this is one of the best places in port Macquarie to relax and have a bite and they even have deserts. All the staff are always nice and friendly and the club is always clean, we love to go thee at least once a fort night...

Went here whilst holidaying in Port Macquarie and really enjoyed it. The roast was really delicious and the pricing was quite good for what I got. Roast veggies cooked great and the pork wasn't dry. My husbands chicken schnitzel was a bit smaller than others we saw coming out of the kitchen but still a decent size. Staff were all very friendly and was definetly a warming experience. The only complaint was some of the food seemed very "fancy" for a bistro style setting and there wasn't much choice for the kids.

really nice atmosphere, especially overlooking the water, food is excellent and of high quality, not your typical club food, the staff are always lovely, lot's of parking, and cheap drink prices, child friendly bistro also

it is a great club the staff are all very welcoming it is a great place to eat and drink and gamble its great for the kids as well as the adults there is alot to do

great food and service. nice place to have dinner, great list of meals. only don't feel its good for young kids. very nice place to have a wedding.

Great club. Welcoming and friendly staff. Good decor and a fabulous view overlooking the Hastings River. A very relaxing place with the poker machines closed off from the rest of the club. Good spaceous area for sitting with a drink or something to eat. Aqua dining offers a good variety on the menu covering things like canneloni, stirfry, fish and chips, a delicious carvery and my favourite Jasmine Rice and Prawns in a Garlic cream sauce....(mmmmyum!) plus so much more. The cafe also has a good selection of delicious cakes, quiches, wraps etc. just waiting for those who just want a quick nibble and Richard makes a wicked coffee, not to mention that chocolate delight that goes with it. This place is not just a club. Thanks to the staff and management it has won the well deserved Club of the Year award.
