Love this place. We've been there quite a few times. Breakfast is always great. Never had a bad meal. Staff are really nice & obliging. Fairly good value for money.

My husband and I had breakfast here last Saturday. The service was fine and the wait staff were pleasant. I found the quality of the food to be very good but the dishes overpriced. The portion sizes were very disappointing considering the prices. I ordered an avocado ciabatta with goat's cheese and a poached egg on the side. I basically got one very thin piece of ciabatta with avocado on it and four small dollops of goat's cheese on top (definitely not worth the extra $4 for the goat's cheese). We also found out upon paying the bill that they charged us an additional $4 for the poached egg!!! My husband's big breakfast was nice but, again, the portion size was definitely not worth the almost $20 it cost. While the quality of the food was good, we won't be rushing back as it is way too overpriced.

Unfortunately not open for dinner, Breakfast, Brunch and or lunch are always great here! It's a fairly small cafe (with great parking!) with two outdoor areas, front and back; but it's inside that this place shines. Firstly, the coffee - simply the best (and more importantly) and most consistently great coffee in Bayside I've had. The two owners manning the coffee machine will greet you warmly, with very welcoming smiles. Although there are some young and somewhat inexperienced staff, the exceptionally good others make sure all is as it needs. Italian style food, but tending towards "Australian Cafe" rather than traditional, you're sure to find something to suit your needs. Brunch is my favourite typically, and I've yet to be let down here - Eggs Benedict with Crispy Bacon is my strong recommendation! Lunch has surprised me with near restaurant quality meals, but Turkish or Ciabatta open sandwiches are also available. Great (although simple) stylings coupled with very friendly and capable staff make this a very welcoming place to eat and relax. Couple that with the great food and fabulous coffee - and you've got one of the best Cafe's of the area. Five stars.

Approximate cost: $17
