I didn't go to tea, pay top dollar to be arrogantly dismissed and belittled by the owner. What a pig. Never eat there again. Commented the meal size was really small and presentation was poor. He was overly defensive, dismissed that my size portion was small and costs are going up. He did offer another serve, but his body language, tone and attitude was so negative, I just left. What a pig of a manager. This is not customer service

One of my favourite things about this hotel is the charm of the old pub. It has this beautiful open fire which begs to be hogged for hours. Hubby loves the lamb shanks - yes you can have more than 1 and the burger is good too. I really enjoyed the garfish which was cooked lovely. Been here a number of times, would happily recommend and look forward to returning.
