Been to tinnies gourmet pie shop few years back and I've never tasted a pie so good, Oversized pies, great curry filled with full scallops not just chunks and a light but crispy pastry. At $8.90 it's a high price to pay until you work out against the price of scallops this is a steal. Unexpected surprise and I can't wait to go back and try others.

They claim they have the best pie you will ever eat and WOW is it true. I had a roast Lamb Pie with homemade mint jelly Yum and my friend had a Panang Curry Beef Pie which he said was fantastic. Cannot wait to go again.

Tinnies make & sell a wide variety of pies such as potato, steak & mushroom, peppered steak, curried scallop pies & wagu beef pies. They also do family sized pies which is handy for those lazy meals at home. the staff at tinnies are friendly, helpful & serve you quickly

we called into tinnies today for the first time to try their thai red curried pie we had heard so much about we were not disappointed we had coffee afterwards with a scrumpious sweet pie and i ended up buying a few of their family pies i certainly will tell all my family and friends about his beautiful pies the shop is a credit to staff clean and friendly

i was very impressed with tinny pies. the staff were so friendly and helpful. they have such a great assortment to choose from.the shop is very clean and presentable. will shop there more in the future.

wow what can i say about tinnies pies. They are the best pies around, especially their curried scallop ones. they are so mouthwatering. I love how clean the store is and that you can see the pies being made which i find very good.The staff are extremely friendly and quite nice.

I've only ever been to this place one due to that fact of the price of the pies, It was terrible, they didn't even taste that great, I say try Phil Maneys Pies before Tinnies Pies.

i reckon this is the best pie place in launceston. I absolutely love the scallop pie...it is full of scallops and has a beautiful taste to it. The staff are always nice and friendly. The store is very clean and the prices are great

i must say tinnies make the most beautiful chicken and mornay pies i have been there quite a few times and each time enjoy what ever pies or sausage rolls i get value for money and the staff are so helpful and always friendly

I have only been into Tinnies pies twice as the pies are a little bit expensive for my taste. But in saying that they are worth the money you pay for them if you love pies. When i went there i had a chicken mornay and a curry chicken. Both were absolutely beautiful in taste and fillings. The pies are quite large compared to most bakeries and you can actually see the meat when you bite into it, unlike a lot of places you only get a few pieces of meat in each pie. The staff were nice and helpful when it came to choosing what you wanted. The store was nice and clean and you could sit down and eat inside or out outside on balcony. You can also order takeaway. As well as pies they also sell pasties, sausage rolls, vege pasties and deserts. I would say they are the best pies in Launceston and if you love your pies and don't mind paying a little extra for quality then this is the place to go.
