Combining craft beer and Chicago style food Tippler's is a popular bar in Newstead. I am not sure what the deal with is with American food in Brisbane, but it is really over ratted. Everyone is doing it now but tipplers has the added "joy" of things like hotdogs and onion rings.

Don't go for the food, but enjoy the beers and the general ambiance.

No complaints. The American style food was a treat. I had the spicy chicken wings - yum and the beeeeeeer mmmm there are many craft beers to choose from.
Great atmosphere

This place is tucked away in a quiet little area in Newstead but does seriously good Chicago style food and has an amazing beer range both on tap and in the bottle. It is a funky little space that unless you are looking for it you won't be find but are glad when you do. $10 for 1kg of great chicken wings says enough plus some awesome sliders for $5 a hit and as I say an amazing range of beers. I had a great time just reading through the beer menu of all the different types of beers from around the world. Great little spot for the beer and food lover.
