This was the venue we chose for our wedding day. We had visited 2 other venues prior and werent that happy with the, tocal was last on our list and as soon as we arrived we knew it was the place. The staff showed us around the grounds, helped us with all the booking and even suggested caterers and the like for us to use. The week before the area was flooding so like any bride i was nervous but right up till the morning they kept us informed of what was happening and then on the day let us know that even though it was a bit muddy underfoot we could still go ahead. We were able to have the wedding on the verandah of the homestead, pictures in the gardens and the reception building is the old shearing shed they have turned into a glamourous function centre. From the outside it looks like an old shed with tin roof but inside it has polished floorboards and a mezanine level upstairs. I would never have imagined it could look so beautiful all lit up. You need to organise your own caterers, beveradge attendant and the like, but all the facilities are there for them to use.
