If you are for authentic Thai Food, Tom Toon has it for you. I've been here several times already and every visit gives me a wonderful dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

Tom Toon is where most Thai students go enjoy their meals. (I was told from my Thai friend.) I personally have been there 5 times now and have been impressed every time, especially with their foods. The food is more like street foods and from Isaan (North Eastern provinces) in Thailand.

My favorite dishes are "Beef noodle soup", "Grilled chicken liver with dipping sauce", "Papaya salad with sticky rice", and "Pork skewers". They all are delicious and challenging to me at the same time because I'm not a big fan of offal but I love grilled liver there.

Service is not on top of their game IMO but if you wave them like when you're in Thailand, you will get their attention and get service.

The food price is not high but if you look at the serving size, it's not that big. I ordered 4-5 dishes for myself every time to make me full. But like I said before they all are delicious so I don't mind ordering them at all.

To sum this up, Tom Toon is not a typical Thai restaurant we've seen a lot in Melbourne;so, if you want to try something interesting and tasty, this is my pick for you.

My friend recommended me to dine in this restaurant. He said If you are after AUTHENTIC Thai food, you must dine in Tom Toon. So I went to Tom Toon yesterday for lunch, I ordered Thai Sausage for entree, Red curry, Crispy pork with chinese broccoli and Fish with chilli sauce & vegetable for main course.

It was very delicious.. very authentic thai food. the service was fast and the price is reasonable - per dish around $ 10 - $15 ish. Highly Recommended!
