I love the TonKotSu Ramen here so very much, the soup is really delicious! It's not dear too..good for winter comfort food as they are fast service too. however,The beef was that very finely shredded stuff full of stringy and horrible fat. There was no sukiyaki flavour or even soy. The few onions were bland and the sliced green shallots and pickled ginger added some marginal taste. The rice was the best thing about the dish which says something.

This joint is highly overrated - their sukiyaki beef soba ranks way down on my list. The noodles were fine, the beef was ok (a bit tough) but the soup was terribly salty. I had to down glass after glass of water to quench my thirst...was it salt? msg? Either way, blergh. Won't be coming back here in a hurry especially when there are so many other ramen places nearby. Hopefully the Chifley outlet is better.
