I noticed the bricks on our external wall were damp and we could hear running water coming from somewhere. I crawled under the house and could see water flowing between the double bricks but couldn't locate the pipe. Confused, I called Top Rate and talked to Rob. He was friendly and approachable and probably used to hearing panicked customers over the phone. He and his partner promptly came to our house and diagnosed the problem - a copper hot water pipe within the brick cavity that was put in when the house was constructed in the 1940s. I withered as Rob told me that he would have to remove some bricks. The dollar signs started whizzing in my head. However, Rob took it in his stride and amazingly worked out the very brick that hid the leak. A quick weld job later the problem was fixed and the cost was very reasonable. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Very happy customer.
