Fantastic medical practice with fantastic doctors. We see Helen and Ming and are always so happy. If you have to wait a little while for your appointment, it is because the doctors are thorough, caring and don’t rush your appointment. Yes there is a gap fee but it’s reasonable ($40) and you can always see the GP registrar if you want to be bulk billed. Children are bulk billed which I think is fantastic.
Approximate cost: $40
Booked a time and turned up and just went straight in. It's my first time here. No complaints from me if I keep getting this service
It is an odd little medical centre, and when you go in there it looks like a average little place. Wait times can be a bit long as in my experience there has been only one doctor on. But the staff were very respectful as was the doctor, it is becoming rare for some of the high turnover medical centres that the doctor actually listens to you and is respectful and shows some empathy. They bulk bill which is great and I definitely recommend.
great review thank you
Made an appointment and still had to wait over 1.5 hrs. Reception was not helpful and didn't advise the wait time. There are many more bulk-billed medical centres around. I will never come back.
Went here when I was injured for work cover.. Dr Samali was awesome.. kind and sweet a lovely indian lady.
This bulk-billing center is very popular but very good the times I have been. Doctors are quite friendly and was served in relatively good time (waiting time varies depending when you go). Once I went it wasn't so busy so I nearly immediately saw a doctor. The medication that I've had there have helped immensely both times. Conveniently there's lots of parking too.
Before my recent visits I always felt the service was very poor due to the queues, however now it has greatly improved. You can go in almost instantly when there are no patients waiting- just go early in the morning when they first open! Got a blood test there- just walked in and walked out. Very quick!
There is a very long wait but it is bulk billing so I guess it makes up for it! They have many waiting seats so you'll definitely have a place to sit down :)
With this place there will always be a wait so if you are in a rush just use the factory-like high turnover medical centres that treat you like a supermarket customer using self check-out. But if you want respect and someone who listens and treats you like a patient then go to this place.
I've been there a few times now and each time just been shuffled in and out as quick as possible. This time was the worst. Doctor was terrible. Prescribed meds that left me in severe pain soon after and that night I awoke in agony. I was pretty upset as I'd been told the meds would fix everything that day. Next day I had to visit another doctors centre and got much better treatment. Never again will I return.
I just moved in to the Ryde area and had a google search for a medical centre and found their website with all the info I needed to make make mind up and come here. Overall nice clean premises and easy to get to. They have a dietitian, speech pathologist, psychologist, audiologist and Laverty also onsite. That made it easier for my blood tests. Outside they have a late-night chemist, physiotherapist and a dentist. Bulkbilling only if you have a medicare card. I think charge cash for non-m/c the usual. Happy to be there. Although they are short on doctors. I think some doctors should come over and work there. cheers.
Approximate cost: $free
Yes I've been here for a blood test and also a late night emergency!
