Osteopathy:
Osteopathy is more than just bones! Osteopaths treat a variety of musculoskeletal complaints that involve joint pain, muscle pain, ligament sprains, and nerve pain. Our practitioners are fully qualified, experienced practitioners that provide therapeutic manual treatments that are complemented with educational and therapeutic advice and management.
Manual techniques - Also known as hands-on techniques. Our osteopaths identify important areas and the types of dysfunction in your body. Techniques such as stretching and massage for the general treatment of the soft tissues (muscles, tendons, and ligaments) along with mobilisation of specific joints and soft tissues are used to relieve your symptoms.
Nutrition - Food is medicine. It contains all the nutrients and minerals that are required for good health. Together, we look at your daily diet and adjust it to suit you and your body. We don’t eliminate, we substitute, so you are still left with real food to eat!
Rehabilitation - Exercise is gold. Strengthening the muscles and mobilising the joints through exercise really speeds up progress and helps to prevent the injury or pain from recurring. Our osteopaths will discuss with you what type of exercises you are able to do and the best way to fit it into your daily life.
Dry Needling - Our osteopaths are trained in the skill of dry needling. Dry needling stimulates neural pathways, which can help fast track healing. The practice of dry needling includes inserting acupuncture needles into various trigger points on the body which can relax overactive muscles and reduce pain.
Percussion Therapy - It is particularly great for tendon injuries. Your osteopath will discuss with you if this treatment technique may be of benefit to you.
Naturopathy:
Naturopathy is more than just supplements! It is a holistic system of healing that incorporates a range of treatments and natural therapies, with the underlying belief that your body is able to fight infection and disease itself, given the right support. Naturopathy assists one to restore the equilibrium of the body, allowing the immune system to better defend against infection and disease. Food is used as medicine along with specific herbal remedies that help the healing process.

Herbal medicine - we prepare plant-based tonics that contain natural constituents and compounds which can biologically remedy a variety of illnesses. These are not always required but they can really help the healing process for some people.
Manual therapy - releases built-up tension and stored negative emotions to treat both physical and emotional disorders.
Homeopathy - the practice of treating like with like in diluted remedy form.
Nutritional supplements - we aim to use the least amount of supplements as possible. Although, sometimes they may be needed to give a helping hand. Especially useful when immunity is compromised by illness.
