Screen on my notebook computer wasn't working. Was charged $33 for a quote (apparently this was a discounted price!), only to be told that they had mis-diagnosed the problem, but the cost of repair would be about the same. It all started to sound like they just didn't know what they were doing, and I decided not to proceed with the job. Took the computer elsewhere, where they gave me a free quote, the quote being less than half what this place had quoted for the same work.
My old computer was running very slow and I needed to update it. I shopped around to other computer places. Some made them to order and others were major electrical retailers. Just by chance I drove past T.C.M. which is near my home. So I went back and had a talk to Rob the manager. After having a look at the quotes that I had got he worked out what he could do and came up with a figure beating the others by around $50.00 from the next lowest. over $250.00 from the highest. They then gave me a time for having the computer ready for me. They built the computer from scratch and supplied a 19" LCD monitor. Windows XP Home edition and a few other things that I had asked for. The computer was ready on time and has been good to use. i would definitely use them again
