I have attended this bakery a few times and each time I leave I am planning my next visit. The staff are very polite and helpful, the cakes are amazing, (the jam donuts never had anything so nice before ). They have amazing coffee.

This was my favourite place to grab lunch when I used to work in the area. The service can be slow at peak times, although we used to phone through an order and go down to pick it up and they were always fine with that. The toasted sandwiches made with their freshly baked bread were always a great option, and good value too since the loaves were pretty big - my favourite order was a chicken, cheese, avocado, mayo and pineapple toasted sandwich on wholemeal. Delicious! (Good with ham instead of chicken too). And they never batted an eyelid at me asking for weird combinations. Some of their fresh sandwich choices are great too, all named after mountains in SE Qld.

I have been a regular customer of this bakery for the past four years, but only because of lack of competiton in the area. The food is mostly ok, apart from bone and grizzle in their chicken sandwiches. The service is extremely slow. The owner needs to lighten up, when she is in the shop the atmosphere can be unpleasant. The staff are more relaxed and friendly and actually smile when she is not there.

Finally, a decent bakery, like they used to be! Nice area to sit and enjoy it while I take some time out. I come back all the time now. Just the other day I stopped in with a friend a got a fresh sandwich to take down and eat by the water, much cheaper than the shops surrounding the beach

The Bakery is always friendly and make fantastic food, Sandwiches are fantasitc and made fresh to order. Pies and Cakes are also great. The shop also takes phone orders which is always a bonus

We visited Sandgate from another suburb - wow! Real bakery food like I remember it. They sell the stuff you remember in a bakery - gingerbread men, scones, donuts, vanilla slices, caramel tarts. None of the new stuff that is not so nice. Great service, prices were reasonable and a decent place to sit and eat. We would love to have you as our local bakery.

Town hall bakery makes the yummies Date Scones!!! The staff are very friendly, and take the time to say hello. There are some delicious sandwiches available at lunch time & they take phone orders - great for when you only have a short lunch break.
